No Concerts in Quito

Concerts in Quito have been suspended after the establishments where presentations are made, may not be rented.

For 2010 were confirmed more than 15 different concerts and artistic performances in Quito, yesterday the event organizing companies confirmed these may not carry out because it does not pass new laws dealing with the administration and rental of stadiums and event centers.

All the event organizations and sponsors are concerned, however mentioned that will make it possible for concerts to take place and will search for suitable sites even if them are not the traditionals. People are also worried because they do not know whether or not to purchase tickets in advance. They are also quite angry as it was announced excellent and unusual concert never seen in the country such as Guns' n Roses and presentations awaited of Chayanne and Alejandro Sanz.

Some music agents and promoters do not know whether to include Ecuador in their schedules due to these problems that interfere with the signing of contracts. “Don’t having for sure the place on which will take place the presentation, make negotiations cannot be done quickly, that’s why we prefer no including Quito on our tour” said David Bisbal spokesman.

In the last four days, one concert has been cancelled and two have been announced. The fans were thrilled by the announcement of these shows; however this problem started all in expectation of what might happen. In late January will begin the discussion of the sports law which covers the administration of the scenes and depending on what them decided will be confirm or not the shows and where will the presentations take place.

Rumors of the cancellation of the shows will follow, that's why Team Producciones and Or Producciones at press conference will refer of their different shows in the upcoming days. Top Shows said: “The only ones affected will be the fans who yearn to be part of the tour of their artists”, and affirm that all his concerts are confirmed.

Until now: Forever Tango, The Cranberries, Joaquín Sabina, Alika, Alejandro Sanz are confirmed and fans bet for more surprises.
